Introductory Message from Executive Director Amanda Hughes

Greetings,

Wow, the floodgates opened, and I’m blown away by the collaborative energy moving Stanislaus 2030 into the next stage of implementation. Here’s a sneak peek of progress made in my first month as the new Executive Director…

Since mid-June, we’ve:

• Secured $400,000 in new investments from the City of Modesto, Beard Land Improvement Company, E. & J. Gallo Winery, and Wells Fargo to support operations over the next three years

• Managed an application and selection process for the new Stanislaus 2030 Advisory Committee, which  will oversee and support initiative governance

• On-boarded two new subcontractors, Nurture & Beaudette Consulting Inc (BCI), to help with implementation of Stanislaus 2030 strategies related to childcare expansion and talent development

• Launched the Stanislaus 2030 In-Home Childcare Expansion Project, a pilot designed to lay the groundwork for a larger-scale investment by a range of stakeholders.
