Introducing the Stanislaus 2030 Advisory Committee
Please join us in welcoming our new Stanislaus 2030 Advisory Committee! Members will oversee our public-private partnership for a three-year term. Collectively, they represent a wide range of sectors and communities in the county. They will help ensure effective strategy and track progress in line with our Investment Blueprint. This passionate group already met for the first time earlier this month, and we're grateful for their guidance. Learn more about our leadership and governance here.
Quarterly Progress
Stanislaus 2030’s Executive Director, Amanda Hughes, presented a progress update to the County Board of Supervisors on August 29. Read the report or watch the presentation here.
Program Highlights
Small Business Supports
Co-hosted a Small Business Ecosystem Mapping session on August 3 with over 15 organizations. We’re creating an inventory of programs, clarifying organizational roles, and identifying gaps in services.
Childcare Expansion
Launched In-Home Childcare Pilot with rolling cohorts starting in mid-August. 30 entrepreneurs have enrolled to date, and our goal is to have 25 successful start-ups by course completion in November. Learn more about our plans here.
Talent Development
Established criteria for the Manufacturing Strategic Workforce Planning Team. This group of industry leaders will act as a central hub for research and forecast manufacturing workforce needs over the next 5-10 years. Learn more about this work on our new website here.
